If you buy the banner
We collect your company or person name, website URL, category, banner creative and contact email. The contact email is only used to email you about your reign (crowned, knocked out, refunds) and is never shown publicly. Everything else is public in the Fight Record.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
If you subscribe
Your email address is stored by Brevo, our email provider, and used only to tell you when the belt changes hands. If you sign up on the home page, you confirm by email first. If you buy the banner and tick "Get ringside", we add your contact email to the list when your purchase goes through, because you've just used that address. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Counting visitors
To show buyers how many people see the banner, we count visitors with an anonymous hash of your IP address and browser user agent, combined with a random value that changes every day. We never store IP addresses, and because the random value is thrown away daily, yesterday's counts can't be linked to anyone. Counts are deleted after 8 days. Banner views and clicks are counted the same way, as plain totals.
Reports of a banner are rate-limited using a one-way hash of your IP address, which we can't turn back into the address.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool hosted on our own server. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
Cookies
Banner Brawl doesn't set any cookies.
